Animal behavior is easily misunderstood
Animal behavior can be very mysterious and misunderstood. Many people are simply misinformed when it comes to animal behavior. They misinterpret the actions of their pet. There are many books on the subject and before you get rid of your beloved animal because of his behavior you might want to read up on it.
There are many explanations for animal behavior. For example, many people assume that when a cat is peeing everywhere but in the litter box that there is something wrong with the cat. But perhaps the litter box is in the middle of a high traffic area. Would you like to go pee in front of everyone? Why would your cat? Or something has changed in their life. Perhaps someone has moved out or moved in and your cat doesn’t like them. Or they are mistreating your cat when you aren’t looking. Anything is possible.
Animal behavior does not have to a problem for you and your family. Buy a book on the subject before you give the animal away. It could be a simple problem to solve. They are a part of the family. No matter how strange their behavior is. After all, you wouldn’t just give away Uncle Al if he started to pee on your favorite sweater, would you? I know it could be tempting.
