An automatic pet feeder will save you time
An automatic pet feeder will keep your animals well fed for at least a few days at a time. It will save you the effort of having to feed your animal twice a day and for many busy people, they just don’t have the time to do that. If you like to leave out dry food for your cat or dog; an automatic pet feeder will make your life a lot easier. It can also help to ease your animal’s mind about their next meal.
I know of a stray cat that was adopted by a friend of mine. He owned an automatic pet feeder. And every time that feeder was empty this poor cat would send up a yowl and he would whine until somebody would refill the feeder. As soon as you did, he would sniff the food to make sure that it was edible and then walk away. He wasn’t hungry; he just wanted to make sure that when he was hungry that there would be something there for him to eat.
An automatic pet feeder will ease your mind as well, if you are running a few hours behind schedule at least your animal won’t starve while you are gone. Of course when you do get home, they will make it seem like they are wasting away, even if there is still food in the feeder. But that is just how they show you, how much they need you.
