A dog cage makes a great extra room for your dog
A dog cage makes a wonderful place for your dog to escape to when the kids manage to tire him out. It may not happen all that often but when it does your dog will appreciate having a dog cage to escape too. After all, don’t you appreciate it when you have a few moments rest from the kids?
A dog cage makes a safe haven for your dog. If you leave it in a quiet area of the house and make sure that the kids know that when puppy is hiding in there not to bug him, your dog will use it as a place to have a nap. And it is always a good idea to have an old blanket in there for him to sleep on. It’s best that he has a place to nap that isn’t under foot for both of you.
A dog cage doesn’t have to be used for just transporting him to and from the vet’s. As a matter of fact, if you get him used to napping in the carrier it makes it easier when you go to load him into it for a trip. He won’t be as scared of the cage when it’s brought out because it is left out all the time. All you have to do, is close the door on him while he’s napping. It doesn’t get much easier than that.
