Dog crate training can be made easier
Dog crate training can be a very stressful endeavour for both you and your dog. After all, how would you feel if someone kept trying to shove your butt into a cage that you don’t really want to go into? Dog crate training can be made easy if you have the right know how.
Dog crate training requires a few things. The first thing you need is a crate. The second thing you will need is a lot of patience. The third thing is more patience. Your dog won’t get it right away. There is no reason to believe that he will. Give it time and consistent training and eventually your dog will willingly go into the cage.
Dog crate training books are available and it won’t be such a bad idea to pick one up. They contain a lot of good advice as to what not to do and not do. Which can be just as important as knowing what to do. For example, a good idea would be to put his favourite treat in the cage, a bad idea would be to pick him up and push him in the cage if he struggles. Little things like that can make the task easier for you and your dog.
