Pick the dog food that best serves your dog’s nutritional needs
Which dog food brand can sometimes be the hardest choice for a dog lover to make? Dog food is a very personal choice. Some people have one brand that they will stick to no matter what kind of dog they have or get. And that can be a good thing. There is nothing wrong with brand loyalty. And dogs are nothing if not loyal.
Dog food choices should be made with careful consideration. Try to find the kind that suits your dogs nutritional needs best. If you are not sure what those needs are, ask your vet. He can tell you what your dog needs and he can probably recommend a brand that is best suited for those needs.
Dog food above all, should be eatable according to your dog. You can do all the research you want on which food is best for your dog. But if he won’t eat it, it won’t do either one of you any good. If your dog prefers food that doesn’t have all the necessary nutritional value: there are dog supplements available on the market place. It may be the best compromise for both of you.
