A dog treat is a great way to reward good behaviour. It helps to enforce what is right and what is wrong. Some dogs aren’t always the smartest creatures and unfortunately there is no way to teach them how to speak English (or your language of choice). They don’t always know what “No” means, even if it’s shouted out at them. A dog treat helps to enforce what should be done.
A dog treat is a wonderful way to help train your dog. If you don’t want him on your company’s lap (and most people do not look forward to a large German Shepherd curling up on them) then the best way is to train him that couches are for people. A treat will lead your dog off of the couch and once he is down you can reward him.
It is always handy to have a variety of dog treats in the house. You should always be willing to reward good behaviour as much as you punish the bad. A dog treat is the best way to make sure that your dog will always stay a happy and loving pet.
