An electronic dog training collar can be one of many things. First there is an electronic dog training collar that will control your dog’s barking. It can be used as a training tool to help teach your dog about when it is appropriate to be making noise (like in a park or the middle of the afternoon). And when it is not appropriate to make noise (like at 3 am when you have to get up early).

It sets up a perimeter and if your dog wanders outside the safety zone (which you decide the distance and shape of) it will send a small shock to his system to warn against leaving the yard. This is a great idea for those who live near busy streets or have a large wooded area that they don’t want their dogs to wander through.
There is also another electronic dog training collar available. It sends off a light so that your dog’s collar will glow at night. It makes it easier to find him if you are in the habit of night walks with your dog and he likes to wander off. It also makes it harder for a car to hit him. After all, he glows in the dark, how can someone miss seeing that? So choose the collar the suits your needs best. Or get them all and use the best collar for the situation.
