Sometimes you may need more than one grooming tool
Many dogs don’t like the grooming tool. No matter what it is. I can’t say that I blame them. A grooming tool to them is like a medieval torture device to us. We may be aware of the fact that what we are doing is a necessity, but that doesn’t mean that they understand it. No dog wants to see any sharp object coming at them. Would you?
I know of a dog that actually hated the nail clippers so much that he buried them in the backyard. So when buying a grooming tool you might want to get a second pair. One to actually use on the dog and the other so the dog can get revenge by burying them until they rust.
A grooming tool is needed at some point in time in every dog’s life. Whether it is nail clippers for their feet or a pair of sharp scissors to remove a mat, a special tool is needed. An ordinary pair of scissors may not do every job. It is always best to get the right tool for the job. It makes it easier and less stressful for both you and your dog.
